The Consulate General of Bangladesh in Jeddah is one of the biggest consular posts of Bangladesh abroad. It has 7 officers and 39 staff-members other than the Consul General with 4 Wings named Diplomatic, Consular, Labour and Sonali Bank. All the wings have been working under tremendous pressure for which each and all officers and staff of this Consulate General have to remain busy beyond office hours and on holidays throughout the year. Apart from this, as the Consulate General is located at the gateway of the two Holy cities, the Mission has to do the protocol duties for VIPs and various government delegations who visit Jeddah for performing Holy Hajj, and Umrah as well as official purpose.
