Takween Advanced Industries is a Saudi Public Joint Stock Company with a paid-up capital of SAR 350 Million divided into 35 Million ordinary shares.
Takween was founded in 1993 by Mr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Othman and started its operations under the name of Al-Othman Factory for Plastic Products.In 2010, the capital was raised to SAR 97.5 Million through the acquisition of 99% of Ultrapak Manufacturing Company and the acquisition of 53% of Advanced Fabrics Company (SAAF) thus, increasing its share from 46% to 99% in SAAF.
The company was converted to closed joint stock company and renamed Takween Advanced Industries followed by a raise in its capital to SAR 300 Million in 2011.
